Representatives of Brigham Audubon will be attending a special session held by Michigan Audubon on Saturday, November 14, at the Dahlem Center in Jackson. The meeting will include updates from each Central Region chapter of Michigan Audubon, as well as presentations on topics pertaining to chapter activities.

About Us
Brigham Audubon is a Chapter of Michigan Audubon. Chapter meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at the Binder Park Zoo. Chapter activities include: monthly meetings, field trips, and special programs in the greater Battle Creek area. Each year, Brigham Audubon chapter leaders participate in the Central Region Meeting and the Annual Conference of Michigan Audubon.

Bernard W. Baker Sanctuary
Baker Sanctuary is located 10 miles northeast of Battle Creek. There are two public trails. The sanctuary was established in 1941 as America's first bird sanctuary dedicated to crane conservation. Baker is a refuge for nesting and migrating sandhill cranes and home to more than 200 species of birds, as well as mammals, reptiles, and amphibians.
Each year Baker Sanctuary is highlighted during the annual CraneFest.
